pollution, promote recycling and contribute to the transition towards a
circular and low-carbon economy in Kenya.
Our Vision:To become a leading environmental, circular-economy and sustainable-technology company in East Africa, transforming waste into resources and supporting the adoption of innovative solutions in recycling, resource recovery, waste-to-energy and renewable energy.
Our long-term strategy is to move beyond conventional waste disposal towards a circular economy model in which waste is treated as a valuable resource. We are therefore expanding our activities into resource recovery, waste-to-energy and sustainable energy technologies, with the aim of contributing to cleaner communities and Kenya’s transition towards a more sustainable and resource-efficient future.
From Waste Management to Sustainable Energy
Embakasi GreenCycle Ltd is exploring and developing opportunities for the conversion of suitable waste streams and organic waste into useful energy and other productive resources. Our developing waste-to-energy focus includes the evaluation of technologies for the recovery of energy from waste, including organic waste, while reducing the amount of waste requiring final disposal.
Through partnerships with technology providers, manufacturers, investors and other stakeholders, we seek to identify and promote appropriate solutions in waste-to-energy, biogas, renewable energy, energy efficiency and resource-recovery technologies.Our objective is to establish a practical link between waste management and sustainable energy by supporting technologies that can transform waste from an environmental burden into a source of energy, recovered materials and economic value.
